Hotel Amelie Berlin

Enjoyed the warm atmosphere . The room, though a little dated, was clean and functional. The shower had solid pressure and the complimentary toiletries were a nice touch. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to key attractions like Friedrichstraße station and the Reichstag. Breakfast was basic but satisfying enough to start the day, perfect considering it was included. Staff were friendly and accommodating, though language barriers made communication tricky at times. WiFi connectivity in the room was spotty, requiring a special connection in certain areas. Some noise from the hallway was noticeable, probably due to thin walls. Nevertheless, it was warm and cozy were nice.

The location, near to everything in Berlin, and a very friendly and helpful staff. We got a suit wwith two bedrooms , romantic.

We stayed in the hotel for one night and were satisfied with the accomodation as such - rooms are not much of luxury but okay for overnight stay. Very close to S-bahn / U-bahn station Friedrichstr which enables good connection to city centre. Breakfast was excellent and staff pleasant and helpful. Overall, we recommend this hotel.

Wi-Fi access is restrictive, requiring new passwords after just two days. Maintenance issues arose. A loose TV cable and flickering lights in the hallway detracted from an otherwise decent experience.

Conveniently located close to Friedrichstr station. The gentleman who was on reception on our arrival was most pleasant and helpful. My room and bathroom were spotless, although the stair areas leading to the bedroom corridors were a bit rundown. Being set in a courtyard the hotel was insulated from traffic noise. Good buffet breakfast with attentive staff who were constantly replenishing the food. Overall good value for money and I would certainly stay there again.

The breakfast is exceptionally NICE with lots of food. Overall the room is neat, functional and includes air conditioning and coffee.

The hotel is quite basic but it is comfortable and clean. The shower facilities were very good, the beds were fine and although it is situated in a fairly busy area - it is very quiet on an evening and the rooms are soundproofed.

The breakfast is pretty basic but in fairness it is realistic considering the price.

It is in an excellent location within walking distance to shops, attractions, equidistant from all the salient landmarks of Berlin and close to public transport.

Hotel managment promised there was internet connection in rooms but it is not true.

Charming and warm accommodations with a retro Berlin feel. The cleanliness and quietness of the room enhanced my stay, although the WiFi access was limited and the reception's hours could be inconvenient for late arrivals. A good budget-friendly option close to key sites.

A friendly welcome from receptionist sets the tone. You find a clean, spacious single room with tv. My room was to rear of courtyard which meant complete silence.......bliss. Transport links are fantastic with Friedrichstr. (S Bahn / U Bahn). I would thoroughly recommend hotel. Great location and great value for money.

We had a very pleasant stay and will certainly come back a next time.

Surprised in the best way!

It began with a friendly welcome, and the location was perfect for exploring. Just a few blocks from the riverside dining, I enjoyed great cafes nearby. The breakfast was satisfying, with fresh bread, meats, and coffee. Clean and cozy, I felt right at home during my entire visit!

Only 10 minutes walk from Oranienburger Gate u-Bahn tube station. Air-conditioned rooms with view in the back yard, and absolutely perfect and nice location.

Disappointing staff!

Reception staff were courteous & friendly. Hotel is about 5 minute walk from nearest U-bahn / S-bahn station (Friedrichstrasse). It does not take long to get from the hotel to further into the centre of the city.
